The Brazilian full back isn’t worried about changing clubs and is relishing the challenge. “I signed for Barça because I loved what they are doing,” he said.
On a first day at work that began with medical tests in the morning, Dani Alves appeared at a press
conference at Camp Nou to speak about his move. “It’s been very good and it’s
important to be in a side with fantastic players,” he said. “I hope the spirit we have
now stays with us right until the end.”
Hungry for titles
Alves is anxious to play a key role in the side: “I’m used to being under
pressure, and here I have a bit more, but it’s always going to be there and you have to get
used to it”
“I signed for Barça because I loved what they are doing,” he added.
“I’d love to win more titles, especially those that I haven’t won yet.”
Memories of Seville
Dani Alves admitted it was “tough” to leave
Seville, but said that now he wanted to work with his new team and be as successful as he had been
before. He will have his first contact with his new team-mates in training at 8 o’clock on
Monday morning, just before setting off for Scotland.
