Squad training at the Miniestadi

The team has trained this Monday at the Miniestadi. After only ten players were at La Masia for the morning session, with those who played most in Scotland having a rest, all available players put in an appearance at the Miniestadi.

25 players were at the training session, seven of whom were from the reserves who took part in the trip to Scotland. First teamers missing at the Miniestadi were Gudjohnsen, with a strained left knee, and Márquez, who has hamstring problems. Alexander Hleb was also away as he had to go to Madrid to get a visa for the club’s tour of the US.

It was thus the first session with all available players since Friday. On Saturday and this Monday morning, only the least used players turned out while Sunday was a holiday. Before beginning training, open to the press for the first fifteen minutes, the team gathered in the centre of the pitch.
