After a flight of more than 9 hours, the Barça expedition left behind the Renaissance city and is now in the Mecca of modern architecture, Chicago.
Two years after their last visit to the U.S.A., Barça again set foot in
an American city. On that occasion, Los Angeles, Houston and New York welcomed the team with open
arms. Now it’s Chicago’s turn, a new city on the American route the club has taken in
the last few years.
Chivas de Guadalajara, the club with most titles in the Mexican League, will be Barça’s rival at the Soldier Field in Chicago. This will be the second game in such a short period of time that Barça play against the red and whites. Two years ago, in a sold out Coliseum in Los Angeles, they met again in August in a game that ended in a draw (1-1).
