Sweat and high spirits

The first team have trained this Monday morning continuing their preparation for the first leg of the Champion’s League preliminary. Despite the hard work these last few days, there was a good atmosphere during the session.

At half past nine in the morning the FC Barcelona players met up in the mini-stadium for yet another preparatory session. The players, who on Wednesday face Wisla Krakow (9.45p.m.), carried out the first session of the week. In spite of this, Josep Guardiola’s men have not rested as they had three training sessions this weekend.

A relaxed session

Despite the heavy workload these last few days, the Barça squad have not lost their smile and are trying to make the most of the exercises.

Strange warm-up

V. Sánchez, doubtful

The youth team player, Víctor Sánchez, is still undergoing treatment to recover from a first-degree strain on the outside ligament of his left ankle. Having examined him, the doctors decided that Sánchez shouldn’t exercise with the others in the mini-stadium. Moreover, the second team player is doubtful for Wednesday’s game.

An afternoon session tomorrow
This morning’s session was the only one today. Josep Guardiola’s men will exercise again on Tuesday afternoon in the Camp Nou (8p.m.) in what will be the official training session prior to the Champion’s League match. Even then, it is expected that the boys have one last session on Wednesday morning before the evening match.
