The Barça first team knows the time and date of the first League fixture, away to Numancia. It will kick off on Sunday August 31 at 7 o’clock in the evening.

The 2008/09 edition of the Spanish League Championship is just around the corner. Pep Guardiola’s side makes its debut in the league at Los Pajaritos in Soria, where they will face Numancia at 19.00 Sunday week.

Camp Nou, weekend of September 14

Members and fans of FC Barcelona will be desperately keen to be there to see the first league game at the Camp Nou, but they will have to wait a fortnight before the game at home to Racing Santander on the weekend of September 14. That is because the week in between there is a programme of international matches.
