The first team assembled on the pitch in the Miniestadi on Friday morning before training to have the first squad photo of the new season taken with the new kits and all the new signings being show off.

In this annual event, the players were all in good humour as they donned the new Nike kit after changing in the Miniestadi and walked on to the field to pose for the cameras. The photos took place this week after UEFA asked for the images from all teams competing in the Champions League this term.

Miniestadi

Pep Guardiola did pose for a team photo earlier in the month when the players posed before the Trofeo Gamer encounter with Boca Juniors. The Miniestadi was chosen for the photo shoot and only Gaby Milito was absent. The squad were all very relaxed and enjoyed their moment posing in front of the lens.

Training session

After the photos, training began as Barça continued their preparations for the first league game of the new campaign at Numancia on Sunday evening (7pm). The session was quick at first with a series of physical circuits that were worked through before a change of rhythm slowed the proceedings down.
