Bojan Krkic believes that FC Barcelona's ambitions must have no limits this season because he believes that the current squad is capable of challenging on in every competition.
On his 18th birthday, the Blaugrana striker signed a new contract extension at Camp Nou that will
keep him at the club until 2013 and he assured in a press conference on Friday that he is relishing
playing in Europe. "It does not matter which teams we have drawn because we will go into every game
in the same manner," he said. "The squad have a strong desire to really achieve something this
season."
No easy games
"All the teams are in the Champions League and therefore nobody can say that because they do
not have such a big name that they will be any easier," he continued. "We will treat every side
that we meet the same way."
A privilege
On a personal level, Bojan is pleased with his place in Pep Guardiola's first team squad. "I
am a young player and, just like last year, I hope to continue to have the confidence of the
coaches," he explained. "Being in the first team at 18 is a privilege."
Starting again
"I think that last was very good for me, but that is now in the past. Everything is
new and we all have to start from scratch," Bojan continued. "I need to take advantage of the
minutes I am given this term."
No favourites
When asked about who he felt the favourites to win the title will be this season, Bojan was
diplomatic in his answer. "It is impossible to choose a favourite," he explained. "All I know is
what things are like here and that we are 100 per cent ready for the start of the league season."
Looking ahead to Real Madrid's chances, the young forward simply said: "They are a very good
team with some exceptional individuals."

Playing For Spain
Bojan Krkic has been called up to the full Spain squad on two occasions but has yet to make his
debut, but that does not him. "I am very pleased to have been a part of the squad against Denmark
because I was on the bench for the European champions at 17 years of age and that is a privilege.
For me it is the greatest. When the moment comes for me to make my debut that is when it will
happen." Serbian coach Radomir Antic has voiced hopes that he could persuade the player to play for
him as his father was from there, but Bojan ruled that out. "I am very grateful that he wants me,
but I am Spanish and feel Spanish."
