Henry back in squad
www.fcbarcelona.cat
The French striker, who missed the Sporting match with a sore throat, is the only change to the Barça side for the midweek game with Betis, coming in for Pedro.
The 18-strong squad list for Wednesday evening’s clash with Betis is almost identical to that
named for the trip to Sporting Gijón, the sole change being Thierry Henry coming in as a
replacement for Pedro. The former Arsenal player missed the previous match after going down with a
sore throat, but has since recovered.
Apart from Pedro, the other players that will not be meeting the Andalusians are Sylvinho and
Víctor Sánchez, who have been dropped, and the injured Hleb, Milito and Jorquera.
Training in Camp Nou
Before announcing the list on Tuesday morning, the team trained in the Camp Nou. Pep
Guardiola had his full squad available, as well as Sergio Busquets, the reserve team regular who
has once again been handed a first team opportunity.
The full squad
Valdés, Pinto, Alves, Piqué, Márquez, Puyol, Xavi, Gudjohnsen, Iniesta, Eto'o, Abidal, Touré Yaya,
Cáceres, Bojan, Keita, Messi, Henry and Sergio Busquets.
