Barcelona players Xavi, Puyol and Messi have been included in the FIFPro World XI 2007/08. This means that Barça is the club with the most players in the side.
This is the first time Xavi Hernàndez has been chosen for
the FIFPro World XI. This recognition comes in addition to being named Best Player at Euro 2008 by
UEFA and receiving an award from sports paper ‘Marca', also as the best Euro 2008 player.
Barça has the most players in the FIFPro World XI at three. It is
followed by Manchester United, with Rio Ferdinand and Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid, with Casillas
and Sergio Ramos, and Liverpool, with Fernando Torres and Gerrard. Chelsea, with John Terry, and
Milan, with Kaká, contribute one player each.
