Lucky number 13
Berta Brau
Samuel Eto’o and Fernandao are the top scorers in their respective teams and leagues with 13 goals each this season.
There is not between the two hotshots, despite the fact that they both play different sports, and
the pair have a similar objective which is to try and find a way to the opponents’ goal as
quickly and as many times as possible.
Two Blaugrana top scorers
The two forwards are lethal in front of goal and have a real hunger which has helped them
make great starts to their respective seasons and there appears to be no sign of them letting up.
With 13 goals each, they are not only top scorers for their teams but also in the leagues in which
they play.
Eto'o doing well
Eto’o’s 13 goals have come in eleven matches this term,
giving him an average scoring rate of 1.18 goals-per-game. The Cameroonian striker has started in
ten of the eleven league matches played so far this term and has netted four times in one game,
when he helped the Blaugrana to an emphatic win against Real Valladolid earlier this month. It is
those statistics that have made him one of the players that opponents watch out for the most.
Fernandao has 1.44 goals-per-game
Fernandao also has 13 goals to his name this term as he has become a key
player in Marc Carmona’s team. The Brazilian has started eight of the nine futsal games for
Barça this season and he has an average of 1.44 goals-per-game. Like Eto’o, he has also
scored four times in the same game, when he netted a quadruple against Pinto on October 26.
