Session with Eto’o

The first team returned to training on Wednesday afternoon. Several internationals might be away, but there were nevertheless 13 of the first team available, including Samuel Eto’o, who has not travelled to Cameroon after all.
After winning at Recreativo Huelva on Sunday, Barça returned to training on Wednesday afternoon.
Eight players are off on international duty, meaning Pep Guardiola had 13 first team players to
work with at the Miniestadi. Samuel Eto’o had originally been destined for a Cameroon
friendly in South Africa, but in the end, has stayed at home.
Four reserves as back-up
So the players that started preparation for the
game with Getafe on Sunday were Víctor Valdés, Pinto, Jorquera, Piqué, Gudjohnsen, Messi, Bojan,
Pinto, Keita, Sylvinho, Touré Yaya, Eto’o, Pedro and Víctor Sánchez. They were joined by
Barça Atlètic’s Córcoles, Verdés, Vázquez and Xavi Torres.
Sergio Busquets, who played an under 21 international on Tuesday against Portugal, did
recovery work in isolation in the gym.
