Iniesta back running
www.fcbarcelona.cat
This Monday Andrés Iniesta went running again at Camo Nou to kick off the second stage of his recovery from injury.
The Barça midfielder picked up a thigh injury on 4 November in the Champions League clash with
Basel and was forecast to be out for 6 to 8 weeks. Since then he has been receiving treatment and
now, right on target at twenty days later, he’s beginning the second stage of his recovery
programme.
Physical work
Iniesta will now be doing more physical work; this Monday, for instance,
he did some tempo running on the Camp Nou pitch in the morning and in the afternoon. The second
stage is expected to last between 15 and 20 days, after which he’ll move on to building up
his strength and stamina and gradually getting back to training with the squad.
