Henry makes it to 25

In the game between Sporting Lisbon and FC Barcelona, Thierry Henry scored his 25th goal for Barça in what was his 100th Champions League appearance.
November 26, 2008 was a landmark day for Thierry Henry, as he scored the first of the five goals
for his team at the José Alvalade against Sporting Lisbon, which was also his 25th goal in an
official match for the side he joined at the start of last season. Divided by competitions, he has
scored 16 in the League, 5 in the Champions League (including 1 in the qualifier against Wisla
Krakow) and 4 in the Copa del Rey.
A goal every three games
The French striker has scored those in 63
appearances, which makes for an average of 0.4 goals a game. He opened his account in the Champions
League on September 19, 2007 against Lyon at the Camp Nou. That night he grabbed the third and
final goal of the night for the team, for whom he has since gone on to score almost a goal every
three games.
100 Champions League appearances
Thierry Henry has spent several years playing in the footballing elite with the likes of
Arsenal, Monaco, Juventus and now Barça, making a total of 100 appearances in the Champions League,
not including different qualifying games he has played for his different clubs.
