Preparing the assault on El Madrigal

The first team has trained for the third time in preparation for the visit to Vila-real. Pep Guardiola once again had his full squad available, although Márquez only took part in the first half.

With no Champions League game, Barça have a whole week to prepare for the trip to Vila-real, the last of the year. On Thursday they trained in the Miniestadi from 11.00 am. The coaching staff worked with all of the players apart from the injured Gaby Milito.

The session took place in even colder weather than ever, but everybody was good humoured, with Dani Alves playing the joker as usual. Rafa Márquez, like on Tuesday, left early once the warm-ups and a series of physical exercises were over. The Mexican has pulled a hamstring in his left leg.
