“We want to start the holidays in a good mood”
Roger Bogunyà
Bojan Krkic has spoken about the importance of the game with Villarreal and how the three points “would mean we start the holidays in a good mood” as well having a good effect on the title hopes.
But he was also careful not to get too carried away with himself. “We haven’t even
finished the first half of the season yet and there are lots of points still to play for. Even if
we beat Villarreal and get a good lead, we know this will take time and we have to keep our utmost
respect for the teams we have below us”, he said.
“I’d like Arsenal”
Asked about Friday’s Champions League draw in
Switzerland, Bojan Krkic said he’d fancy Arsenal, but that no team is easier than any other.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter and Lyon “are all high level teams with players that can tip the
balance”, and he added that the squad will be just as motivated whatever team they are drawn
against.
Pleased with participation
Asked about the chances he’s getting, Bojan said he was very happy to be “playing
in practically every game”, although he has noticed that coming on in the second half means
he tends to get ahead of himself in certain actions. But in general he feels “encouraged and
pleased, because when I’ve gone on I’ve played well”.
