The football first team is back training after the Christmas break. Touré missed the session with a sore throat, while Eto'o, Alves, Keita, Messi, Cáceres and Milito won’t return until Friday.
The Christmas holidays are over for the football first team who have been back training this Monday
after a week off. The League restarts this coming weekend, and Barça will be taking on Majorca on
Saturday at Camp Nou, with kick-off set for 8 pm. There has also been the good news today that
Andrés Iniesta has been given the green light to return to action after two months on the
sidelines.
Touré missing
The only player unexpectedly missing from training this
Monday evening at La Masia was Touré Yaya, who went home with a sore throat. Also absent were
Alves, Eto'o, Keita, Messi, Cáceres and Milito. The six are spending the festive season in their
own countries, and due to distance the club has given them special permission to delay their return
until Friday 2 January.
Double session
The Barça players will be back training this Tuesday with
two sessions. The first will be at 11 am in the Miniestadi, followed by another at 5.30 pm at the
same venue.
