Training match

Seven players from the senior squad took part in a training game on Wednesday with players from the reserves and the youth team.
Although Wednesday was a day off for the first team, seven players who feature rather less
frequently in the starting line-ups took the chance to get in some extra practice together with
youngsters from the reserves and the youth team.
First team players
Pinto, Márquez, Milito, Maxwell, Chigrinskiy, Pedro and Bojan, none of
whom are regulars in the starting line-ups at present, took part in the match. The eleven was made
up by players who have been training with Guardiola this month: Jonathan Dos Santos and Thiago
Alcántara, plus youth team hopefuls Dalmau and Isaac Cuenca.
The reserves
The other team was composed of players from Barça Atlètic and the youth
team: Masip, Ivan Balliu, Iván Benítez, Armando, Carlos Planas, Illie, Luque, Martí Riverola, Edu
Oriol, Elvis and Gai Assulin.
Guardiola looks on
The training match was closely followed by Josep Guardiola and his
assistants Tito Vilanova and Juan Carlos Unzué, plus a number of other coaches. Reserve team
manager, Luis Enrique, and youth team manager, Javier García Pimienta, were also on hand.
The training match also attracted a special guest, Marcelino, formerly manager of Zaragoza.
He was sacked by the first division strugglers in December.
