Dalmau trains again
Sandra Sarmiento / Vanessa Forns
FC Barcelona continued their preparations for the visit of Getafe on Saturday in wintry conditions as coach Pep Guardiola again called upon the services of youth team starlet Albert Dalmau.
With rain pouring down the players were put through their paces at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper
as they look to maintain their unbeaten record in la Primera when Míchel's Geta outfit go to Camp
Nou.
One out
Marc Muniesa was the only player not to be present on Thursday from the
squad that trained the day before, but Dalmau was again asked to work with the first-team to
continue gaining invaluable experience at the highest level. With Éric Abidal and Dani Alves
carrying slight knocks and Carles Puyol being suspended, the youngster may have a chance of making
an appearance at the weekend.
Abidal and Alves
Alves continued his recuperation from a twinge in his calf, while Abidal
combined his special recovery programme with some training with the rest of the squad.
