Champions League tickets to go on sale

UEFA have announced that 11,000 tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 8 to the general public for this season’s Champions League Final in the Santiago Bernabéu.
The final is due to take place in Madrid on May 22 and details are being released about how the
ticketing will be organised. In an event in the Spanish capital on Friday European football’s
governing body stated that at 12pm on Monday they will put tickets on sale for the general public
until March 19 via their official website, www.uefa.com.
Price is right
Supporters can apply for two tickets-per-person and they will be informed if they
have been lucky on March 31 after the draw. Prices range from between €90 and €300 with
others on sale at €155 and €225.
Young supporters
There is also the UEFA Young pack that allows an adult accompanied by a child to buy tickets
for a 50 per cent discount.
75.000 fans
UEFA also announced that there will be 75,000 spectators at the Champions League final this
year with the two finalists each having 21,000 tickets each. The rest will to UEFA, national
federations, sponsors and the media.
