Training ahead of Osasuna game

The first team squad worked out at the Ciutat Esportiva this morning ahead of Wednesday’s game against Osasuna, with Xavi, Abidal and Pique all absent whilst Jonathan dos Santos from Barca Atletic again trained with the squad.

Xavi and Abidal continue their recovery from injury, whist Pique remains doubtful for Wednesday. Guardiola will have to discard one of the 19 players who trained this morning for the match when he announces his squad an hour before kick off on Wednesday, as Spanish League rules only allow 18 players for a game.

Balmy

In contrast to the snow of a fortnight ago, the squad enjoyed a warm morning for the session, with temperatures reaching a balmy 17ºC.
