Ibrahimovic: “I wasn’t worried”

The Swedish striker, who scored the winning goal at the ONO Stadium, admitted it was a difficult game against a “tough” Mallorca and after getting back into the scoring habit this week he revealed he’d not been too hung up about his goal drought.
Three goals in a week should have put an end to speculation about the big Swede’s goal
drought, but he insisted he’d never been worried: “I wasn’t worried about
scoring, for me the important thing is that I’m playing the way I like. If I am, the goals
will come and if I’m not, then I just have to adapt myself to the game we are in”.
Below are the players’ post match comments:
Pedro:
"It’s a tough ground to come to, but we knew we had to take the
three points”.
"It was a difficult and important game. We knew we had to win and that’s why we were so
concentrated and motivated”.
"You could see that we went out looking to win the game and we pressured them from the
off”.
"Ibrahimovic’s confidence is growing- let’s hope that continues and he’s
more self-assured with every game”.
Alves:
"Today’s game was a challenge for us, because of the position Mallorca are in. They are
very well organised and came out really motivated because they were facing Barca”.
"Keeping a clean sheet was important. We’ve got great players up front, but if we can
stop the other team scoring that’s half the game won”.
"My idea was to pick up a yellow so that I miss the next game, but I’ll be available
for the trip to Madrid”.
Puyol:
"Mallorca had only lost one game here and they concede very few goals.
They play a very strong, direct game, with strong, dangerous players”.
"Every win counts and we’re going to have to win a lot because Madrid are not going to
slacken the pace”.
"Both Madrid and ourselves are in a good moment of form, but we have the Champions League and
we may get to the game against them a little more tired. These games are special though and
I’m sure we will be fresh and up for it”.
"It’s not a matter of showing against Arsenal that we are out to win everything –
that’s what we have to do in every game”.
Keita:
"Every game is going to be like a final from now till the end of the season”.
"It was a tough game and we are happy to have won at such a difficult ground”
"We always go out to win and sometimes that’s not so easy”
"The squad are relaxed. We know that there are 9 games left, but right now we have to focus
on the Arsenal game”.
Jonathan:
"We kept the pressure up until the very end. We’re happy with the goal and the three
points”.
"I feel good that I was able to play. Every time I’m given a chance I try to take
it”.
"Both teams are playing at a high level and when we meet Madrid it’ll be a very
competitive game”.
