There was good news for Pep Guardiola this morning with Zlatan Ibrahimovic getting the medical all clear to play in tonight’s derby game against Espanyol.
After this morning’s final training ahead of tonight’s game, it was announced that Ibra
was in the squad for the derby after coming through the session okay.
Abidal will have to wait
The Swede has been out since injuring himself in the warm up before the
Bilbao game and was today given the thumbs up to play tonight, whilst Eric Abidal, who’s also
been training with the full squad, will have to wait a little while longer.
Abidal and Iniesta are then the only absentees for the game and Guardiola has named a full 19
man squad for the clash, with one player having to be discarded before kick-off.
