There’s no rest for the squad, who were training this lunchtime ahead of the game against Tenerife in just over 48 hours time. The whole squad took part in the session, with the exception of the injured Andres Iniesta.
Even though they didn’t get back to Barcelona till late last night after their win in
Villarreal, the players were all present and correct for their midday training session with Pep
Guardiola at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Tenerife on Tuesday
With the games coming fast and furious – Tenerife visit the Nou
Camp on Tuesday evening – there’s not much time to get over the effort of one game to
prepare for the next, but the players go into their second game of a packed week boosted by the
three points, and the performance in Villarreal last night.
Thiago and Oier with the first team squad
With the players who featured in the Madrigal having an easy run out,
the rest of the squad, plus Thiago and keeper Oier Olazábal from Barca Atletic, were put through a
rather more rigorous session.

Family support
There was a relaxed atmosphere on the training ground, as various players welcomed family members
who’d come along to watch the session. Messi and Bojan, whose father was present, and Maxwell
whose brother was also on hand, all received family visits.
