Johan Cruyff paid his first visit to watch the FC Barcelona squad train at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Friday morning in his role as the club’s honorary president.
The Dutchman is a regular in the presidential box at Camp Nou during matches, but has rarely been
seen at training sessions since his time as head coach drew to a close. Now he has accepted the
invitation of Pep Guardiola to see the players put through their paces ahead of the trip to
Sevilla.

It was not the first time that Cruyff has visited the Barça training
complex in Sant Joan Despí but it was his first in his new role as the Catalan outfit’s
honorary president, which he took up on April 8.Atento a la session
Starting at 11am the squad worked on Pitch 1 at the training complex and Cruyff took his
