League title goes down to the last week
www.fcbarcelona.cat
With Barca and Madrid both winning their games on Saturday night, the league will go down to the wire, with the title being decided next week when Guardiola’s team host Valladolid and Madrid travel to Malaga –both teams fighting to avoid the drop.
One of the most hotly contested leagues in recent years won’t be decided until the final week
of the season, with Barca going into the final weekend a point ahead of Real Madrid and knowing
that if they can at the very least match Madrid’s result, the title will be theirs.
Champions for 50 minutes
It was so very nearly all decided on Saturday night as Barca were
virtual champions for 50 minutes, between Messi’s 5th minute opener and Ronaldo’s first
for Madrid and then again after Yeste had equalised for Bilbao and until Higuain put Madrid ahead
once more.
