Bojan Krkic is happy about the signing of David Villa, who he reckons is “a great player”, claiming, “we are compatible”, Bojan also confessed that his great finish to the season: “filled me with pride and gave me more strength”.
Bojan won a starting place in the team for the last few games of the campaign and notched up eight
goals in his 22 appearances, confirming his popularity with the fans and ending the season on a
high note.
Tough competition up front
With Villa and Ibrahimovic both fighting for a spot up front, Bojan
admitted: “there will be even more competition for a place in attack”, but insisted:
“Villa is a great player”.
Bojan will go into the start of the new season as the in-form striker though, after scoring
six goals in the last nine games, a climax to a season that he confessed: “filled me with
pride and gave me more strength than ever”.
The home grown youngster knows that patience is the key to success and he believes:
“I’ve had a few tough moments this season, but that’s help me learn how to be
strong and how to deal with things. In the end I got my rewards”.
