Bojan Krkic, who has been keeping an eye on the transfer news even though he is on holiday, says that Barcelona are “the team that won the treble and the favourites to do it again”.
At the end of the Nike Campus, held in Andorra over the past fortnight, Bojan Krkic spoke to Barça
TV and www.fcbarcelona.cat. Despite being on holiday since 23 June and the end of the European
under-21 championship, he says that he’s been “keeping up with the football
news”.
He noted that in spite of the signings made by other clubs such as Real Madrid, Barça have
won the treble and “are the favourites to win everything again”.
Praise for Villa and Forlán
One of the most mentioned names in the media recently has been David Villa.
“I’d love it if he came here,” says Bojan. “We’ve been together in
the Spain squad and I think he’d be a good buy.” He also thinks that “Forlán is a
fantastic player”.
Self-belief
Bojan also said he was hoping for “a bigger role and more game time with the first
team” in the coming season. He has great self-belief and is confident he will perform well in
the new campaign.
Barça heart
After the games played
this Saturday morning at the Nike Campus, during which Bojan played for a number of the teams
involved, the striker answered questions from the children. In one answer he said that in his view
“feelings are more important than money, and Barça has given me everything and I really feel
at home here”.
Bigger role
In another answer Bojan said that at the end of last season the coaching staff recommended he
shouldn’t pay too much attention to rumours about him leaving in the summer, as they wanted
to keep him and he would have “a bigger role”.
