The Mini welcomes Maxwell

New Barça man, Brazilian left back Maxwell, was presented this afternoon at the Miniestadi before 2,500 fans.
The former Inter Milan left back enjoyed the traditional
presentation to the fans this Friday, the event being held at 7.00 pm in the Miniestadi, due to the
returfing work going on in the Camp Nou.
Maxwell, decked out in the new first team kit, walked onto the pitch and posed for the cameras in a Barça shirt for the first time.
Excited crowd
A young and enthusiastic turned up to greet the new signing
out of the players’ tunnel. Maxwell responded by giving them the thumbs up and gifted them
one of the balls that he used for the traditional show of ball skills for the cameras.
At the behest of the fans in the Miniestadi, the defender also kissed the crest of the club he will be representing for the next four seasons.
Last presentation not in Camp Nou either
The last time a new player was presented to the fans, the Camp Nou was also not the venue. That was
last summer, when Alexander Hleb was presented at La Masía.
