A photo that’s becoming a habit

For the third time in 2009, the team posed for a photo at Barcelona airport after bringing home a title. This time it was the European Super Cup to add to the photos with the Champions League and Spanish Cup taken earlier this year.

When the team plane arrived at 12.40 this morning, it was a familiar sight a s Puyol and Guardiola opened the aircraft doors with another Cup held aloft. The rest of the team, with President Joan Laporta and technical secretary Txiki Begiristain followed them down onto the runway for the now traditional group photo.

The team’s 2009 photo album received a new addition this morning as the team posed with the European Super Cup on the runway Barcelona Airport.

Relaxed return

It was a hard 120 minutes on Friday and that was reflected in some weary looking faces as the team tried to get some sleep on the flight back. During the flight club officials allowed fans and family members to pose with the newly won trophy..

Messi

Leo Messi is the only player who didn’t come back with the rest of the squad, having been given permission by the club to join up with Argentina ahead of their vital World Cup qualifier against Brazil next weekend in Messi’s hometown Rosario.
