Pedro and Jeffren rejoin training
Edgar Fornós / Roger Bogunyà
The squad is gradually getting back to normal size. Pedro and Jeffren were the latest to return to action.
The former had been given special permission not to train on Tuesday, and has therefore had a
four-day break. Jeffren, meanwhile, is back after playing two matches for the Spain Under 21 side,
starting both encounters.
Touré and Keita were also back, having already completed their international commitments in
Africa.
Reserve players
Today’s session started at 9.30, and involved eight first team
players at the Ciutat Esportiva: Valdés, Pinto, Maxwell, Iniesta, Keita, Pedro, Jeffren and
Márquez, who had stayed in the gym on Tuesday. Bojan, who still has fitness concerns, stayed in the
treatment room, as did Ivory Coast international Touré.
The same four reserve players as on Tuesday joined the first teamers (Fontàs, Muniesa, Oriol
Romeu and Armando) and also the same three youth players (Adrià Carmona, Sergi Gómez and Javi
Espinosa).
Next session on Thursday
The next session for the players is on Thursday at 18.30, and once again
at the Ciutat Esportiva. Most of the Barça internationals should be back in time for that one.
