The first team squad attended training this morning at the Ciudad Deportiva. The session focused on recovery, especially for the players involved in Saturday’s game at Getafe.
There’s no time for Barca to wind down and savour their victory over Getafe; they trained this morning at the Ciudad Deportiva complex in Sant Joan Despi. This is because this coming Wednesday they begin to defend their Champions League title away at the Giuseppe Meazza against Inter Milan.
Easy on the players involved in Getafe game
The session began at 11:00 behind closed doors, but the coaching staff
went easy on the players involved in Saturday’s game away at Getafe. Touré Yaya, Iniesta and
Puyol underwent physio in the gym.
Eight players from Barca B were also present: Iván Benítez, Rubén Miño, Armando, Ilie, Espasandín, Oriol Romeu, Gai and Rochina.
