Ibra: "I am looking forward to Milan return”

Edgar Fornós

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is looking forward to making his first return to Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday evening since leaving Inter to join FC Barcelona in the summer after three seasons at the club.

"It will be a touching moment to go back," he told reporters on Monday evening. I feel very emotional about returning. I spent three seasons with Inter and I am delighted to have another chance to play in their stadium. It will not be easy, especially as they have strengthened this season and will make things hard for us."

Mourinho and Guardiola

"Both of them prepare for games very conscientiously," he explained. "They look for the most information they can about the opposition in order to find ways to win. The pair have great winning mentalities and that is what has made them both so successful."

Winning the lot

Ibrahimovic has yet to win the Champions League during his career, but that is not his sole focus at Barça. "I have not yet won that, but I have not come here just for that: I want to win everything," he added.

Better each day

"I am feeling better each day," he said. "Being better physically lets you feel more comfortable on the pitch and to be able to show your quality. I am enjoying training an the games and I expect to improve."

World Cup hopes
Reflecting on Argentina's hopes of qualifying for the World Cup, Zlatan Ibrahimovic hopes that the team and Lionel Messi do make it through. "I am convinced that in the games that remain Argentina will do enough to secure a place in the finals. Without Argentina it will not be the World Cup," he added.
