Pedro scoring in all competitions
Roger Bogunyà
Pedro is making a name for himself in La Liga and in Europe. In just two months he's scored four goals for the first team in four different competitions and all of them have been decisive. When Barca need a goal, it's Pedro who's proved decisive.
It's still early to be reaching conclusions, but Pedro is already looking like a match winner. On
August 16, he opened his account to score Barca's second in their 1-2 win over Bilbao in the
Spanish Super Cup: 12 days later he bagged the winner in the European Super Cup over Shaktar and
this week he scored against Dynamo and Almeria.
Decisive
As well as being spectacular, Pedro's goals have also served to swing
games Barca's way, from the goal in Bilbao to the winning strike in Monaco and his goal on Saturday
against Almeria – whenever Barca have won by a single goal, it's been Pedro who has made the
difference.
One goal every 85 minutes
Pedro has played 343 minutes this season and has scored on average every 85 minutes, scoring
in four of the 10 games he's appeared in so far. In total he's featured in 26 games over three
seasons with the first team.
