Same dynamic at the Ciudad Deportiva

On Thursday, as has been the case all week, the six first team players not away on international duty teamed up with Barça Atlètic players for training, today also joined by Dalmau and Riverola, of Juvenil A.
Josep Guardiola decided that for the fourth training session of the week, the six first team
players, Valdés, Pinto, Maxwell, Jeffren, Pedro and Bojan, should join Luis Enrique’s players
at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper.
Two youth players
They were joined on pitch number 2 at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper
by FC Barcelona youth players Albert Dalmau and Martí Riverola.
On Wednesday, Andreu Fontàs had been doing recovery work, but on Thursday, both he and Oriol
Romeu, who have both just returned from the Under 20 World Cup, worked with the rest of the group.
Match-based training
Today’s session was almost entirely based around an actual game.
The first team side was made up of Pinto, Dalmau, Maxwell, Armando, Benítez, Romeu, Riverola,
Luque, Jeffren, Bojan and Pedro.
They took on a team formed by Masip, Montoya, Bartra, Fontàs, Espasandín, Rueda, Jonatan,
Ilie, Edu Oriol, Elvis and Nolito.
At half time, the score was 0-0, which was the moment the media had to
leave. However, despite the lack of goals, it was the first teamers that created most of the
chances.
