Chygrynskiy fully fit
Edgar Fornós / Vanessa Forns
Dmytro Chygrynskiy has been given the green light to return to playing again by FC Barcelona doctors and will be available for selection for the game against Real Zaragoza this weekend.
The Ukraininian defender has completely recovered from the knee ligament injury that he suffered on
September 26 in the game against Málaga in La Rosaleda. Tests carried out immediately after he
suffered the knock indicated a three-week lay-off and he has now been told that those were accurate
and that he is fit to return to action.
Two league games
Apart from the two Champions League game, against Dynamo Kyiv and Rubin Kazan, wihc
Chygrynskiy is ineligible for, the former Shakhtar star has missed two league encounters due to his
injury as he was unable to play in the 1-0 win against Almería in Camp Nou or the goalless draw
against Valencia last weekend in Mestalla.
Preparing for Los Maños
The FC Barcelona first-team returned to training on a slightly drier
morning on Friday after the deluge that soaked the Catalan capital throughout Thursday. The players
all went through various exercises and preparations for the visit of Real Zaragoza to Camp Nou on
Sunday continued.
All except Alves
Dani Alves was the only player that did not take to the pitch during the
session as he picked up a knock in the European outing against Rubin on Tuesday, while Thierry
Henry was present but trained aide from the rest of the players as he bids to recover from a muscle
injury. During the 15 minutes that were open to the media Gaby Milito was seen being put through
his paces.
