Ibra and Eto'o in the spotlight
Jordi Clos
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto'o will both be playing against their former team-mates on Tuesday evening and will undoubtedly be the focus of much of the attention.
They featured in the biggest player swap of the summer and on Tuesday they will have to line up
against the team that gave them so much success in recent seasons. Barça v Inter will be very
special for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, though the Swedish striker is still an injury doubt. Meanwhile,
Samuel Eto'o returns to the Camp Nou determined to do what he knows best – score.
All eyes on Ibra
Ibrahimovic has missed the last two games due to a leg injury. Tests on
Sunday showed that the problem has improved and on Monday he worked hard with one of the fitness
coaches, together with Leo Messi. As of Monday evening he remains doubtful and a decision will be
taken before the match.
The return of Eto'o
Eto'o hasn’t waited long to return to the Camp Nou, this time on
the opposing side. Six months to the day since his last match in the stadium, Eto’o was back
on the pitch for a training session at 5.30 pm. He spent a long time saying hello to a host of old
friends.
