Barça will start the New Year in just the same way they finished 2009; with a busy schedule of matches. In just nine days they will face Villarreal, Sevilla and Tenerife.

Barça will start 2010 with a match against Villarreal on Saturday 2nd January (kick-off 8 pm). Further details of the fixture schedule were announced this Monday including the kick-off times of the two matches against Sevilla at home and Tenerife away.

FCB v Sevilla, Tuesday 5th January 10 pm

The first leg of the R16 Spanish Cup tie between Barça and Sevilla in the Camp Nou will kick off at 10 pm on Tuesday 5th January.

Tenerife v FCB, Sunday 10th January 9 pm

Meanwhile, the league match away to Tenerife will kick off at 9 pm on Sunday 10th.
