Barça back in north end at Mestalla
www.fcbarcelona.cat
This Thursday it was revealed that FC Barcelona’s fans will be seated in the north end of Mestalla on April 20 for the Copa del Rey final, the same area they were assigned two years ago. The Fan Zone will also be the same as it was in 2009.
So, in many ways the Barcelona fans attending the Copa del Rey final, which this year is against
Real Madrid, will be going through the same routine as they did in 2009, the only real difference
being that last time, FC Barcelona’s opposition was Athletic Bilbao.
The Barça Fan Zone will once again be located in the Polytechnic University area (which is
the closest when entering Valencia from Barcelona), and they will also be returning to the north
end of the stadium, which brings back such wonderful memories of 2009.
It has also been decided that the final will kick off at 21.30, to satisfy the demands of
both clubs for the Spanish Federation to bring the game forward from its original start time at
22.00.
Tickets will cost from €60.
In a few days time, on March 3 to be precise, the exact number of tickets available to FC
Barcelona will be made public. The club shall then inform supporters of the exact method for
applying for and collecting tickets for the grand final.
