Josep Guardiola has named all 19 players that he has available for Sunday’s game at the Sánchez Pizjuán. Puyol, who is still injured, is the only first team player missing.
The squad
Valdés, Pinto, Alves, Piqué, Milito, Adriano, Maxwell, Abidal, Sergio, Mascherano, Sergio, Keita,
Iniesta, Xavi, Pedro, Jeffren, Bojan, Villa and Messi.
As expected, Guardiola will take all 19 of his fit players to Seville for the 28th game of the
season. In theory, it’s one of the hardest away games they have left, with just eleven
matches to go. Puyol has yet to be given the medical all-clear, and is the only player that
doesn’t travel.
Rainy training
These same 19 players, and nobody from the B team, trained on Saturday
morning at the Ciutat Esportiva. Pedro, who had worked in isolation on Friday, trained with the
others as normal today.
Off to Seville on Sunday
The team flies to Seville on Sunday morning. They will leave the Camp Nou at 9.45
for a flight that departs at 10.30. They should touch down in Andalusia around 12.00, leaving
plenty of time to rest before kickoff at 21.00.
