Barça had their first training session to prepare for Saturday’s Champions League final on Monday evening. Puyol and Milito worked normally with the rest of the squad.
Today’s Open Media Day meant that the training session at the Camp Nou was open to the media
and they were able to see both Puyol and Milito training at virtually 100%
Malaga starters take it easier
The players who started Saturday night’s game against Malaga had a more
gentle session after Sunday’s day off and Guardiola was able to work with his complete first
team squad plus B team keeper Oier Olazábal and midfielder Thiago Alcántara. Reserve keeper Manuel
Pinto will not be able to make the final as he is suspended.
Puyol and Milito back up to pace
Carles Puyol and Gaby Milito both missed the trip to Malaga and stayed behind to
train as they worked on their recovery from injury, but tonight they trained virtually normally
with the rest of the squad, doing the same exercises and taking part in the final practice match.
