Most Internet betting sites are singling Barça out as favourites to win the League, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey. The competitions are a long way from starting, but Guardiola’s side is already fancied above the rest.

Almost every one of the most popular gambling sites are already picking Barcelona as champions of the major tournaments ahead of Real Madrid.

At Betfair, you can win 1.86 euros for every euro you put on Barça, while bets on Real Madrid are retuning 2.26. But there are exceptions, such as Interapuestas, where Barça and Madrid are level pegging and both will win you 1.90 euros for every euro staked.

There is confidence in Pep Guardiola and his team across the board, and they also favourites to win the Champions League at the new Wembley, ahead of defending champions Inter. The last Copa del Rey may have been won by Sevilla, but the betting houses still believe it will be Barça that will be lifting the trophy at the end of this season.
