"To wear the Barça shirt has been incredible"

Thierry Henry admitted that his time at Camp Nou had been incredbile as he reflecte don three glorious seasons during his presentation as a New York Red Bulls player.
The French international was given a free transfer by FC Barcelona and agreed to
move to the MLS side this week. Since joining the Blaugrana in 2007 Henry helped the team to win
every major honour available and he stated that it was a great experience. “To wear the Barça
shirt has been incredible for me,” he told a press conference during his first appearance in
a Red Bulls shirt in New York.
Coach praise
During his time in the Big Apple the former Arsenal star will once again wear his beloved
number 14 shirt. Henry spoke kindly about Barça and praised coaches Frank Rijkaard and Pep
Guardiola as well as former president Joan Laporta. “The club is more than a club,” he
added.
When in Rome
Asked about his favourite moments during his time at Camp Nou by
journalists Henry pinpointed the Champions League triumph in Rome in 2009 as the best as that was
the only trophy that he had yet to win in a glittering career.
Style council
Barça’s unique style of play was also something that impressed Henry. “It was
unbelievable,” he explained. “I am just grateful to have had the chance to win
everything there.”
