Pinto: More trophies will not be easy

www.fcbarcelona.cat

José Manuel Pinto believes that FC Barcelona will not find it easy to win more trophies next season but did point to the resilience shown by the team to win the title and three other cups last term.

The Blaugrana goalkeeper is enjoying the first week back at training and looked ahead to what will be another campaign full of expectation after Pep Guardiola's team made it seven pieces of silverware in two seasons with the championship in May.

"What was really difficult was maintaining the level of the year before after winning six trophies then," he explained before commenting on next season. "It will not be more difficult last time out."

Busquets on board

In his place comes former Barça star Carles Busquets. "He has proven that he has great experience and great technique in the first week back," Pinto said of the new man.

Total dedication

2010-07-23_ENTRENO_102.JPGPinto recognised that he is not a regular in the Barça team, but that does not affect his training or preparation. "It does not change the way I do things or my desire to help the team and my team-mates as much as I can. Víctor [Valdés] has not given me the chance to play because he is doing so well, but I will continue to work hard with the team like I have done until now."

Looking back

Now in his fourth season with the Blaugrana, Pinto admitted that he is "delighted to be part of the best club in the world" and hopes to be able to stay for many moer years.
