Adriano trains with Brazilian squad

In Brazil’s second training session at the FC Barcelona facilities, Adriano joined the rest of the players as they were put through a series of physical exercises without any ball contact for an hour and a quarter.
The Brazilians will have two more training sessions before they face Barca B on Tuesday and Adriano
joined the group on Saturday, which also includes the Barca men Alves and Henrique, to cover for
the injured Marcelo.
Worth missing his break
Although the training sessions means that he will miss the break he’d originally
thought he would be enjoying, Adriano was clearly happy to be with the Brazil squad, declaring:
“sure, I’ve had to give up some of what would have been my free time, but I don’t
mind that and I’m happy to make myself available for Mano Mneses and the national
team”.
At home
Although
the whole squad seem to have settled in easily enough, for Adriano it’s a special feeling to
be training at his new club with the national team: •I’m especially happy to be her in
what is my new home alongside the rest of the Brazilian squad” he told reporters who were
part of the large number of Brazilian media covering the sessions.
