FC Barcelona's first-team squad trained on Friday morning as preparations continued unabated for the first league home game of the season against H�rcules and 19 players took part.

Every player apart from Jeffren was available for the session and coach Pep Guardiola again called upon the services of B team starlet Jonathan dos Santos to help continue his learning experience at the highest level. Carles Puyol was also present as he continued to find his rhythm and fitness level.

Jeffren aside

Jeffren Su�rez was the only member of the first-team squad not to take part in the training as he followed his specific training programme in order to recover from the slight muscle tear that he has in his left leg.

Tactics talk

Bar�a will take a break from the norm as they will no train on the day of the game and instead will meet at Camp Nou at 1100 on Saturday where Pep Guardiola will talk tactics for 30 minutes with them. Afterwards the players will head to the NH Constanza and prepare for the game, which kicks off at 1800.
