Barça travel to Kazan on Monday

CF Barcelona’s first-team squad will travel to Kazan on Monday and have two days to prepare for their Champions League encounter with Rubin.
The party will undertake the 3,300-kilometre journey, which involves a five-and-a-half hour flight,
as they return to European competition. Pep Guardiola’s side play the game on Wednesday, but
were keen to arrive early in order to have time to recover from the trip.
Outward bound
Usually, Barça travel to away games in the Champions League the day before a match,
but on this occasion they will fly at 13:00 on Monday in order to have two nights in the Tatarstan
capital.
Pep Guardiola has organised a training session 09:30 on Monday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan
Gamper and the media will be able to only see the first 15 minutes before being asked to leave.
Tuesday session
After arriving in Kazan at 20:30 local time (18:30 CET) the players will spent the night in
the hoteal and then work out once more at 17:00 on Tuesday in the Central Stadium.
Flight home
The game will kick off at 20:30 local time (18:30 CET) on Wednesday and the squad will then
fly back to Barcelona immediately afterwards and are expected to land at 03:30 on Thursday morning.
