The trip to Kazan is the central point of the week for the squad, with the players being given a day off on Thursday, before coming back to prepare for Sunday’s game against Mallorca on Friday.
Barça go into the week ahead of the international break which is bound to leave Guardiola with a
tiny first team squad for 10 days, with two big games against Rubin Kazan and Mallorca coming up.
Back to Kazan again
With the long trip between Barcelona and Kazan
, Josep Guardiola decided to fly the squad out to Russia on Monday, with a training session
scheduled for Tuesday in the Central Stadium in Kazan, where the game kicks off at 20-30 on
Wednesday (18.30 Catalan time).
Day off on Thursday
Once the game is over, the squad will fly straight back to Barcelona, where they should
arrive early in the morning. The players have thus been given Thursday as a day off and the squad
will not be back in training till Friday.
Three sessions
After their Champions League game, Barça turn their attention to the
league game against Mallorca the Nou Camp on Sunday at 19.00. Training sessions will be held on
Friday and Saturday morning at 11.00 at the Ciutat Esportiva, with a final session at the Nou Camp
on Sunday at 11.00.
