Pedro has a calf strain

Medical tests following the Mallorca game showed that Pedro had suffered a muscle strain in his left calf. The player will undergo further tests on Monday to determine the full extent of the injury.

Pedro came off with 15 minutes left of the game, to be replaced by Nolito and club doctors examined him in the changing room immediately.

Pedro will have more tests on Monday morning to determine the full extent of the injury and how long he will be out for. Pedro had been called up by Vicente del Bosque for Spain’s two upcoming European Championships qualifiers against Lithuania and Scotland.
