Fact file Getafe vs Barça

Jordi Clos

Barça won their fourth league run on the trot on Sunday when they saw off Getafe 1-3 following the wins against Valencia (2-1), Zaragoza (0-2) and Seville (5-0).

Here are some of the facts and figures from the game:

-The team continue to improve on their best ever start to a season on the road, with Sunday’s win at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez making it five out of five so far. The Spanish League record is held by Real Madrid who won their first six away games in the 1991/92 season.

- Barça means attack! For large parts of every game, the team are camped out in their opponents half and much of the play is in their area, but Barça have still not been awarded a penalty this season, whilst Getafe’s, put away by Manu del Moral, was the second awarded against them.

- Gerard Piqué is the first Barça player to see a red card so far this season- Piqué’s two yellow cards in the game came for two handball offences.

- Leo Messi has scored on each of his last three visits to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

2010-11-07_PARTIDO_21.JPG- Pedro’s goal was his first in the league so far, though he was also on target against Panathinaikos in the Champions League and Ceuta in the Spanish Cup and is the only squad member to have scored in all three competitions.

- Mascherano was the player who received most fouls during the game –four - whilst he was only blown up for one himself.

- Busquets came on on the last quarter of an hour and didn’t make a single misplaced pass with 14 out of 14 finding a Barça player – the most notable being the ball he played to Messi which so nearly made it 1-4.
