Players get break till Tuesday
www.fcbarcelona.cat
Following the win over Villarreal, Pep Guardiola has given the squad a two day break with the next training session scheduled for Tuesday. That may well be quite a small affair though, as thirteen players will be away with their national teams.
Barça face Almeria next Saturday at 20.00, but the whole squad won’t be together until
Thursday, once the midweek international friendlies have been played.
Thirteen interbationals
Guardiola will be without 13 players who are away on international duty:
eight with Spain, who play against Portugal, Messi and Mascherano who are with Argentina for the
game against Brazil, for whom Alves and Adriano have been called up and Abidal who is in the French
squad to face England.
Remnants of the squad in on Tuesday
There’ll be two sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday at 11.00 at the
Ciutat Esportiva with the remnants of the squad before the internationals report back on Thursday,
when the session is scheduled for 18.00. There will be a final session on Friday morning at 11.00
and the team will fly to Almeria on match day.
